The Consolidated Irrigation District’s Prop 218 Assessment Rate Increase has passed. With almost a 75% landowner approval, the assessment rate increase allows the CID Board to increase rates up to the limits approved. Rates are set each August and will be included on October 2019 property tax bills. The new rate will be reflected in December 2019 and April 2020.
As part of SGMA compliance efforts, CID has identified a number of immediate recharge projects. The Board of Directors will consider these and other compliance investments in the near future.
